GWM is proud to announce our partnership with the ANU Solar Racing Team as they gear up for the 2025 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge - a global celebration of innovation, sustainability, and engineering excellence, taking place from 24–31 August 2025, covering over 3,000 kilometres from Darwin to Adelaide.
As part of this exciting collaboration, GWM is supporting the ANU team by providing two of our advanced plug-in hybrid electric vehicles: the GWM Cannon Alpha PHEV and the GWM H6GT PHEV. These vehicles will assist the team throughout their journey, showcasing the efficiency, practicality, and range of GWM’s electrified lineup.
Both the Cannon Alpha and H6GT PHEV combine powerful performance with lower emissions - aligning with the core values of the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. Whether it’s towing equipment, transporting team members, or navigating the remote Australian outback, our PHEVs will help the ANU Solar Racing Team go the distance, efficiently.
