GWM is excited to share that ANCAP has awarded the Haval H6 a prestigious 5-star safety rating. This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to our unwavering commitment to ensuring your safety on the road.

Based on the rigorous 2020 – 2022 criteria, the Haval H6 joins the ranks of our new-generation GWM models with a top safety rating, following in the footsteps of the GWM Ute.

The Haval H6, introduced in March 2021, was designed on a fresh platform with a focus on enhancing safety, among other improvements. This 5-star recognition is a clear validation of the dedication and hard work of our GWM engineers in this pursuit.

The Haval H6 demonstrated exceptional performance across all aspects of ANCAP’s extensive evaluation, scoring an impressive 90% for adult occupant protection, 88% for child occupant protection, 73% for vulnerable road user protection, and 81% for safety assist. The cumulative score confirmed the H6's well-deserved 5-star rating.

Beyond the new platform and body structure, the H6's success in achieving this remarkable safety rating is also attributed to the comprehensive set of standard active safety systems present throughout the range.

These advanced safety systems include Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with capabilities for pedestrian, cyclist, and crossroads detection, Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Detection & Lane Change Assist, Forward Collision Warning (FCW), and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR).
