GWM showcased the next wave of its expanding electrified vehicle line-up at Everything Electric, held at Sydney Olympic Park from 18–20 September 2026, with the all-new Haval H7 and Cannon PHEV making their Australian public debuts.
The two reveals gave Australian customers and automotive media their first look at important new additions to GWM's growing electrified vehicle portfolio, while demonstrating the increasing breadth of its New Energy Vehicle offering.
All-new Haval H7
The Haval H7 introduced a bold new design direction for the Haval SUV range in Australia, complementing the established H6 range with a more rugged and adventurous proposition, while retaining the comfort, technology and everyday usability expected from a modern GWM SUV.
Known as the Haval Raptor in its home market of China, the Haval H7 attracted attention for its distinctive boxy styling, strong proportions and adventurous character, providing a clear point of difference within the broader Haval SUV family.
Importantly, the Australian Haval H7 features GWM's proprietary Hi4 intelligent hybrid four-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid technology, combining electrified performance and efficiency with the added confidence and capability of four-wheel drive.
All-new Cannon Hi4-T PHEV
Joining the all-new Haval H7 at Everything Electric was the all-new Cannon Hi4-T PHEV, expanding the Cannon range and further strengthening GWM's electrified ute offering in Australia.
Positioned as Australia's most versatile ute, the Cannon PHEV combines plug-in hybrid technology with the practicality, capability and everyday usability expected of a dual-cab ute, providing Australian customers with a compelling new electrified option in one of the country's most competitive vehicle segments.
The Cannon Hi4-T PHEV complements the larger Cannon Alpha Hi4-T PHEV and joins GWM's existing offerings, further strengthening what is already Australia's most versatile ute range.
The Haval H7 and Cannon PHEV form part of GWM's continued expansion of its Australian product portfolio, drawing on the company's global product and technology capabilities to introduce new electrified options across key market segments.
