The Cannon diesel range is built to earn its keep. Its 2.4L turbo diesel delivers 135kW and 480Nm through a 9-speed automatic, with a rear differential lock as standard on 4x4 grades and braked towing up to 3,500kg. Step inside a European-designed cabin with the legroom to match a full day on the tools or a full day on the road. A 12.3-inch touchscreen brings Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 7-inch colour instrument cluster keeps the key numbers in front of you. Adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning take some of the strain out of the drive. Seats step up from Comfort-Tek on Lux to leather accented on Ultra.
Every Cannon rolls on 18-inch alloys and carries its size with confidence. When the bitumen ends, a standard rear differential lock helps you keep moving. Out the back, the tray takes up to 995kg, and you can hook up to 3,500kg braked.
Seven Cannon diesels, one way to find yours: start with how you work and what you tow. Premium and Premium Single CC open the range with a 2.0L turbo diesel and 3,200kg braked towing. Lux and Lux Dual CC move up to the 2.4L turbo diesel and 3,500kg. Ultra, Vanta and XSR add leather accented seats, and the XSR brings front and rear differential locks for the roughest going.
The Lux Dual CC puts the Lux’s 2.4L turbo diesel under a flat aluminium tray, with 135kW, 480Nm, 3,500kg braked towing and up to 995kg of payload. Inside, you get the same 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus faux leather seats, so a work truck doesn’t have to feel like one.
The Cannon Premium is where the range starts, with a single cab chassis for the worksite and a dual cab 4x4 for work and weekends. You still get a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless entry and faux leather seats, so the entry grade doesn’t feel stripped back.
The Lux brings in the 2.4L turbo diesel, with 135kW, 480Nm and 3,500kg braked towing for the big jobs. Wireless phone charging, remote start, power-folding mirrors and DAB+ make the everyday driving easier.
The Ultra has everything in the Lux, plus heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, leather-accented trim and a heated steering wheel. A 360-degree camera, front parking sensors and an electric sunroof make tight car parks and long drives easier.
The Vanta has all the comfort of the Ultra and finishes it in black: 18-inch black alloys, a black grille, a black sports bar and black side steps. It’s built for drivers who want the Cannon to look as tough as it is.
The XSR is the off-road grade, with part-time 4x4, low range, and front and rear differential locks. A snorkel and 700mm wading depth mean it’s ready when the track gets wet and rough.
