Power train

Under the hood, this latest addition to GWM's lineup features a 2.0-liter turbo hybrid engine coupled with a 9-speed Hybrid Automatic Transmission, expanding the brand's portfolio of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) to three, alongside the GWM Haval Jolion Hybrid and GWM Haval H6 Hybrid. The advanced hybrid powertrain impressively combines a petrol engine churning out 180kW @ 5500-6000rpm and 380Nm @ 1700-4000rpm with an electric motor contributing an additional 78kW and 268Nm. Notably, it boasts a robust towing capacity of 2500kg.

Built on GWM's renowned global off-road platform, the Tank 300 is designed to excel in every conceivable condition. With an impressive ground clearance of 224mm, matched with a 33° approach angle and 34° departure angle, this rugged vehicle is complemented by the proven Torque On Demand 4WD technology, ensuring it is well-prepared for challenging off-road escapades. The spacious interior, measuring 4760mm x 1930mm x 1903mm (L/W/H), guarantees ample comfort for all passengers.

Exterior

The Tank 300 boasts a muscular frame that offers a contemporary twist on a classic design. Its blacked-out haunching arches and understated grille exude an air of modern ruggedness, allowing it to conquer off-road terrain without demanding attention.

Illuminating the path ahead is a circular, retro-inspired lens that incorporates a horizontally sliced LED Daytime Running Light (DRL) element seamlessly integrated into the headlights, extending gracefully towards the vehicle's sides.

The robust front and rear bumpers instil confidence, reassuring you that no matter how challenging the terrain, the Tank 300's body remains well-protected. This harmonious blend of design and functionality ensures the Tank 300 is ready to tackle any adventure with style and poise.

The inclusion of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ensures seamless integration with your smartphone, while the 9-speaker audio system envelops the cabin in high-quality sound.
