In a significant achievement, the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) has officially awarded the Haval Jolion a prestigious 5-star ANCAP rating. This accolade solidifies GWM's position as a brand committed to safety, with the Haval Jolion becoming the fourth new-generation GWM nameplate in the last year to achieve this top safety rating.
Previously, the GWM Ute, Haval H6, and Haval H6GT had all secured their own 5-star ANCAP ratings, further establishing GWM as one of the select few brands to have all their nameplates certified as 5-star in terms of safety.
The Haval Jolion's journey to this impressive rating was marked by standout safety features, earning a remarkable score of 92% for its safety assist features. Adult occupant protection closely followed with a commendable 90%, while child protection reached 84%, and vulnerable road user protection achieved 64%, ultimately culminating in the coveted 5-star ANCAP rating.
